It is a misconception that beauty pageants are "shallow" and just focus on the outer looks of a woman. Most of the people don't understand what these pageants are like from the prospect of actually participating in them. There is a rivalry in the pageant community: Many people think contestants dislike each other or are dramatic towards each other. But, it isn't the exact truth!! There are many friendships and even a special bond is formed among the winners, contestants and pageant directors.

Beauty Pageants are only for young and beautiful women: It's not actually true! These days beauty pageants are explicitly created for shorter women under 5’6, plus size women, and also pageants for older or married women. These programs are not that popular, but they also exist for good reasons.
